World Public Relations Forum 2024 Will Contribute Positively to Bali Tourism

The World Public Relations Forum 2024 which will be held in Bali on November 19-22 can make a positive contribution to the tourism sector on the Island of the Gods.
This was revealed by the Acting Governor of Bali, S.M. Mahendra Jaya when receiving a visit from the World Public Relations Forum (WPRF 2024) team at the Governor's Office Niti Mandala Renon, Denpasar, Tuesday (5/14/2024). The visit was attended by Boy Kelana Soebroto as Chairman of Perhumas and Co-founder and COO of Katadata, Ade Wahjudi.
Mahendra Jaya said that the Bali Provincial Government supports the implementation of the WPRF event, which will take place in Nusa Dua on November 19-22, 2024.
“On behalf of the local government and the community, very happy, very happy, this extraordinary activity is held in Bali and will provide an extraordinary display for Bali,” said S.M. Mahendra Jaya.
Mahendra added that public relations has a very important role as a mouthpiece in delivering information. In addition, public relations occupies a very strategic position or can be called a core business in an institution.
“I would like to thank BPP Perhumas Indonesia for choosing Bali as the host of WPRF. I am sure, this activity will make a positive contribution to the progress of Bali's tourism sector. Moreover, the participants are competent people in the field of public relations, this will be an extraordinary event,” said Mahendra.
WPRF will be an event that gathers the best minds in public relations and communication management from around the world. WPRF 2024 is organized by the Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communication Management, in collaboration with Perhumas and Katadata Indonesia.
Chairman of the Central Executive Board of Perhumas Indonesia, Boy Kelana Soebroto, revealed that Perhumas is a member of the Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communication Management, a confederation and forum for various PR organizations and the World Communication Management Association representing 160,000 leading practitioners and educators from all over the world.
“The mission of the Global Alliance is to unite the perception of the public relations profession, raise standards of professionalism around the world, share knowledge for the benefit of members and become the voice of world public relations for the public interest,” Boy said.
Boy Kelana added that the Global Alliance has a flagship program, WPRF, and this year Perhumas Indonesia was appointed as the host of the international forum.
Perhumas Indonesia, said Boy, is committed to making this forum a medium to raise the Indonesian brand in the international arena and can be a barometer of the progress of the world of public relations in Indonesia.
To date, 30 countries have expressed readiness to attend the forum. The number is believed to increase following confirmation from a number of European countries, America, the UK and Australia.
